i masquerade under various different screen names, but for the sake of partial anonymity, i will introduce myself as heikki -- or nyymi (clipping of anonyymi) if you so desire. i am a teenager who likes to write about everything and nothing. i also like to code, kind of (as you can probably tell).
one of my interests is language learning, hence why i chose a finnish name to go by specifically for this site. i'm not finnish nor do i have finnish ancestry, but i try to learn the language anyway (ja epäonnistun).
as for the web site, i created teurastajanpylly (which literally translates to "the butcher's ass", it's from a turmion kätilöt song) for the sake of writing about things without having to tie my real identity to it. not that i'd write about anything too controversial, but the thin layer of anonymity is nice. most of my writing will probably chalk up to me angrily ranting about things i don't like, but that's what personal web sites are for, right? haha. the site's design isn't much to look at, i know, but it's intentionally simple (and totally not because i'm too lazy to write decent css).
